restraining laws in scotland for autism units

my son attends an autism unit attatched to a mainstream school and i found out a few months ago that the teachers have restrained him :wall: 2 teachers on one my son is only 6 and he's not exactly a big boy, and i havent signed anything or gave any sort of permission for them to do that and wasnt even asked , schools out for summer just now so i wanted to know al there is about the situation before he goes back into primary 2 after summer x anyone know? x :?:

It doesn't matter what country you are in, schools and other places that use restraint, seclusion, or aversives, don't want to hear your opinion. I would recommend consulting with an advocate or lawyer.

I'll ask my sis-in-law about this tomorrow, if I can get in touch with her, and get back to you here.

She has experience of working with children and adults in residential care in Scotland and elsewhere and I know that she is trained in restraint techniques, when they should be used and all the legal issues around their use.
