And didn't want to come out... :shaking:

My father would always refuse to go to sleep with a moth in the room, because he thought it might go into his ear . . . which is odd because he is usually quite level-headed about insects and animals.

Strangely, when I first realized there was something alive in my ear, I thought it was a moth...

Soon after, I wished it were a moth...

8O That sounds like the opening to a cheesy horror film of the sort I would watch.

I was swimming in a lake when a bug flew in my ear. I quickly thought to drown it and did but then realized I now had a dead bug in my ear. :?

Lulz, Magic Spiders

I think whats actualy happening is that the baby spiders are all clinging onto the big spider for protection and when you shake them they all fall off

I just love how the article starts off with a big ol' pic of a tarantula. [/sarcasm]

Now my skin is crawling...

 YUK! EW, Willard!
------------------------------------------------------------
How the Hell could the crew stay on a ship infested with spiders like that?!
------------------------------------------------------------
I heard something on Coast To Coast AM, this woman said she had some kind of medical condition that when she went outdoors, flies could smell it and would be all over her and her ears. Has anyone heard about this before? :?:

Oh God...

Oh my...

Nooooooo...

*starts rocking*

Gah...

Thankfully, I have to sleep with earplugs all the time. I'll treasure them even more after knowing this. My.... my precious.

So. Fumigating the ship isn't going to work on those monster spiders, eh?
 This is a job for...the Monster Buster Club!

Or, better yet, the closing credits of Monster Buster Club; the idea would be to bore the spiders to death.
(I respectfully decline to post that video here.)

That doesn't bother me... but it would if I were a crewman on that ship.

Here's the link to a thread in which I told that story in detail some time ago. Enjoy.

In some spider species, the baby spiders devour the mother after birth - so perhaps they were just having a snack.
