I knew it was for a humourous reason but it just sounds like you had died and people would of probably believed it.

Ah, thanks. As for the dirt thing, I didn't take much notice. I was a teenager once; I think the gut reaction to anyone of a certain age or level of authority is to treat them like dirt.
