I was gone for a few days and I went through and replied to all the posts that I got while I was gone. After that, these topics that I was subscribed to continued to receive responses but I didn't get a notification to my email address. Is there a glitch/bug or am I doing something wrong here? >.>

I am pretty sure you only get notifications if you receive a new private message. Am I incorrect though?

Well, I subscribe to a few threads so I get an email notification whenever a reply is posted. However, I have not been getting any emails even though people are replying. I'm just a little bit confused. D:

Now I'm not getting email notifications for PMs either. What the heck? D:

It's just broken again here too. :(

It's been mooted that this isn't WP getting it wrong, it's the email service provider getting the spam filter wrong. All I know is that it's worked most of the time in Hotmail but it does go through phases of not working.

Huh. I figured that's what it might be but nothing's showing up in my junk mail box so I could "unjunk" it. I guess I'll just wait it out. :)

The emails don't end up in my junk folder either. I just don't get them. Though strangely, one notification got through at around 8pm last night (BST) - don't know what was special about that one. :? There should have been about 10 of them.

I got one at about 7pm and then all the others start flooding in again. :)

In case this happens again, if you are using hotmail, add "alex@wrongplanet.net" to your safe senders list so it doesn't treat your subscribed threads as junk.

I'm using Outlook because that's what my school uses. When I graduate, I'll probably just get a hotmail for all that sort of stuff. :D

I've got 6 today, so I guess it's fixed - for now.

I've just set that up in Hotmail - it was in "safe senders" but not in "safe mailing lists" so it might do some good to have both, though they only say that email from addresses on the safe lists will not be deilvered to the junk folder - the problem here seems to be that they're not delivered at all. But there's no harm in trying.
