Yes, but sometimes I think I should just shut up, and posting in forums is no different.

Sometimes, but it really depends on what is being said, if its a topic that I'm very familiar with, then I wouldn't change my mind and let my mind flow, which I just truly find amazing. :D

Yeah, a lot of times putting something to words takes more effort than I have to give (if that makes any sense?), so I just hit backspace and forget about it.

I do this all the time on a number of different forums that I am a member of currently. I find it annoying because I usually spend quite a bit of time and then at the end if something isn't perfect, or right I will just trash it. Or I will get bored with what I was actually trying to say and then trash the post.

Same here.

Yes. And it's just as well. Luckily WP even gives you a little window of time to delete a fres post too. I always read before I hot "submit" and many tiomes cancel it. Then I read again after it's in the thread and sometimes delete it. Deleting the post happens less often because the "don't submit" filter I have for myself is pretty strong.

That's one of the reasons I like the internet - you can always take it back! xD

Also, if you do post something, you can delete it if you change your mind, right away.

I don't know if it's an Aspie thing or not, I'm just indecisive. Which is why I hate picking sides on large debates (i.e., politics).

I would have over twice as much posts here if that wasn't the case. I swear, I find so many threads here and realise that I'm not the "only one" after all...

Yes I do this a lot, I have only done it a few times on this site, but on other sites in the past I have done it very often, sometimes I even retype the post so many times 2 or 3 hours pass then I still delete it.

It would be a greatly loved button.

I have also changed my mind about posting, because someone was being obnoxious, and I didn't want to start a flame war. 8)
