I really like his movies. I like the kind of character he is. My favorite of his movies is Youth In Revolt, I thought it was sad and sweet. I can sort of relate to it because I do insane things when I'm in love also.

I feel sorry for Michael Cera sometimes. He's a good actor with great comic timing (just watch interviews with him, he's hilarious) but he's constantly made fun of by some people because they feel he "plays the same character over and over" and he has no acting range. Which is slightly true. But what's wrong with that? He may play similar characters but it's a strong character and he does it brilliantly. Loads of actors have made careers out of playing similar characters and nobody complains about them. Loads of people are wetting themselves over The Expendables and to me it just seems like loads of old actors playing roles they've done before, yet nobody complains about that.

Not to mention that Scott Pilgrim is definitely a big step up - yeah it has it's similarities but he's certainly a hell of a lot different from George Michael Bluth. It's a shame that so many people just bring up his lack of range bull-honkey. It's the character he's asked to play and he does it well, if he turned into a Nicolas Cage type and did every type of role under the sun it'd be horrible.

It's like the myth that all actors should be massive wide ranging types that can do any role. They should just be believable in whatever role they're given and Michael Cera can do it.

so, yeah. I like Michael Cera. I don't like all the films he's been in (I never liked Nick and Norah or Year One) but I still have a soft spot for Arrested Development and I love Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

I like Michael Cera's movies, and Arrested Development, and I think he does what he does well. I just hope he branches out as an actor soon, or I think my like may be inverted to dislike. From what people have said, his Scott Pilgrim is a step in the right direction, and I hope it continues.

I can't wait to see that movie.

Sure, he's a great actor, but don't you think there's something disturbingly androgynous about him? Grow some body hair, dude!

That's part of what gives him his boyish charm... I used to have a crush on him.

I liked him in Superbad.

I don't understand what's so good about him, Seth Rogan, or Jonah Hill...As you can tell I didn't care much for Superbad. In fact, I'm still pissed.

Michael Cera and George Clooney would look great in a movie together.

Here is why...

People think Cera and Clooney both "play the same character over and over."

Everyone will eventually get sick of Michael Cera, as many people are of Clooney.

Grow a mustache, dude!

I'm not comparing Cera to Clooney, though.

Michael Cera has only one character. I'll admit he is hilarious but he needs to branch out more. Scott Pilgrim is definitely a step in the right direction.
