Does Wrongplanet use Linux for its web severs?

I would like to know if wrongplanet uses Linux.
If you use Windows than switch to Linux because you don't need to pay licencing fees.

bye having a quick look at the phpinfo record (alex, you might want to remove that) i can confirm my suspision that this site is running under linux, infact it is running under server:

Linux ud02.underdoghosting.com 2.4.21-27.ELsmp #1 SMP

it is possible to probe deeper and get more server infomation, but i do not deem that a suitible thing for me to do.

most web sevices run off of unix or linux, a good easy way to tell is that 99% of website running .ASP (Active Sever Pages) will be running off of windows.

There's a shareware program at grc.com called IDserve that will querry servers and return their specs.

This is what you get when you querry WP with it
