Why's it a problem? Blood isn't exactly hard to come by. It's not like acquiring a taste for endangered rainforest frogs.

(And I'm being serious. Really. I may not have aspergers, but I find blood appealing, and really don't see why this is a problem.)

Lol maybe you just like the deep red color.

I know how you mean. I wasn't remotely fazed while getting my blood taken at the doctor's. I was rather more fascinated watching it fill the syringe.

Yep, me likey blood very much :D... but I still avoid contact with human blood that is not my own. Is anyone here able to describe how their blood tastes when they bite their lip open or something like that? Mine tastes like salted pennies + dark chocolate, white rice (bland) & chicken .

Uh, I have licked my own blood, is that what you meant by "liking blood?"

I wouldn't lick other peoples blood. Ewwww.

I used to self-harm and still beat the temptation to go back to that.

So uh... yeah?

Awkward, possibly not posting would've been a better idea...

What do you mean? I know a young man (non-aspie) who likes the taste of blood. When he was a small child, he liked licking old faucets as well.

I do not like ingesting blood, if that is what you mean. However, I find the colour appealing and the functions of blood highly fascinating.

I'm not bothered by blood, but I always thought the taste of it was nasty. Bitter and metallic. Reminds me of chewing on tinfoil. :eew:

If that many people like it, maybe I should start marketing the used paper towels in my tattoo station trash as a snack food - they're already bright and colorful. :P

Hey tinfoil's freakin' awesome

Umm... you do realize that'd = STD's as snacks 8O
