What is your sleeping schedule like? Do you prefer to be awake and active during the day or the night? Over the past couple of months I have been experimenting with my sleeping schedule to find out what works best for me. I have stayed up all night and slept all day, and vice-versa. What I have discovered is that there are pros and cons to both. Right now my sleeping schedule is pretty erratic, but I want to go back to a schedule of being awake during the day and sleeping at night.

I tend both asleep and active during the day and night due to my love of napping during my free time.

I love being awake during the day because I get to see my brothers and family more often than at night.

I love being awake at night because it's when I get my quiet time or listen to calming music plus I love to read late at night.

I prefer to be awake during the day, and asleep during the night.

I'm pretty nocturnal, maybe I don't sleep all day, but I like to sleep to noon. I know that if I want to go somewhere, f.e. to shop or office, I can't sleep so long. So I wake up earlier than my bio-clock wants.

I prefer to be awake in the daytime. That's when everything's open and I can get my running around done.

My sleeping patterns also tend to be very erratic. Sometimes I stay up all night, and other times I'm asleep during the night. Yesterday, because of a nap I took during the day, I didn't go to bed until one in the morning, and because of that I slept in till noon.

I usually crash around 6AM, and wake about noon-2:00. I don't particularly care for waking up so late in the day, though. I'm working on adjusting so that I'm awake a couple hours earlier. Sleeping that late, makes it a real b***h getting motivated and taking care of daily activities, before most businesses close for the day.

And....yes, it takes me that long to get motivated. I'm not a morning person, at all, and need about 4 hours to spring to life. Mornings = grrr.......lol

Me, too. I normally try to be in bed before midnight.

I like being awake at night because nobody bothers me and it's colder. I'm awake during some of the day though. I usually go to sleep somewhere between the hours of 3 and 7 AM and wake up after noon.

I would prefer to be up at night, but thanks to school that isn't possible.

I rather sleep during the day. There's better TV on at nite than in the mornings. It's a little quieter here. I get to have the kitchen to myself while my parents are asleep. Th longest job I had was working overnight to

Mine cycles around. My most common pattern is falling asleep at 3-4 am and sleeping 6-10 hours. I never know when I'll be awake or asleep. I just guess based on the days before and how I feel.
