Vote #1 for blue_bean in the upcoming moderator election!! !

Why?
- More funding for local roads, schools and hospitals
- More effort put into reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combatting climate change
- Will end the war in Iraq and bring our troops home
- Support for gay marriage
- Maybe some WP moderator duties on the side

Some of my achievements so far:
- 4 and a half years WP membership
- 2 ex boyfriends here
- WP Drama Llama of the Year Award 2009, Runner Up in 2010
- 48 hour gay porn marathons
- Making the hookup thread in adult discussion
- Completing my 5 year jail term and being a law abiding citizen...sometimes
- Making 5,000 origami cranes
- Gaining a completely moderator career unrelated accounting diploma

Glowing character references are available from one of my many sockpuppets upon request :)

With creditials like this I don't think you would have less than a few friends to post your references

This must be a joke. First the "can we have a (insert something here) forum" and now this. I think we have a trend going on here.

Loved the achievements part, however I must say that the hookup thread in adult discussion is pretty much dead lately so its not much of an achievement(if you had created pictures of hot aspies it would be a different thing.)

Now seriously I love the jokes on your posts so keep them coming blue_bean.

So if someone refuses an offer from you in PM they get the mod tag anyway? :P

This thread was just a joke btw. If you ever considered me for mod even for 30 secs I would LMAO and wonder what you're smoking.

Wait, if they don't want to be a mod, wouldn't they not do their jobs as one if they were made one?

I think he meant those that ask for the position aren't best for the job. If the position is offered to them and they accept, that's a different story. We don't need power-hungry mods. That would be baaaaaaad. >.>

So we prefer people who has never thought about it, who are likely ambivalent, possibly don't come into it with anything more than a short-term "Oh wow. I have been chosen amoung the masses, I must show my gratitude in doing this wonderful service in appreciation " kind of feel.
Long term they lose that initial thrust because they mentally justify "Well I never actually asked for the job I was just helping out" attitude.

Can you name which mods over the past 12 months this place had had leave or get turfed and the reason for that?

How is the "

For God's sake...why?

Wow, someone's defensive. I was just offering an idea, it's not like I know how the system actually works. If this is how you react to someone who disagrees with you, maybe you should not be a mod. :/
