thumbs up or thumbs down? i'm leaning towards the latter. i know it's sad of me to any seriously dedicated fans, unless they as well lost all hope. what happened to their slick, edgy, beat-heavy sound? They could have been mixing that sound and still keep on experimenting without losing their luster....so. who wants to rant or rave on a thousand suns? --XdjX

Thumps up I like there music better then some of the other Alternative Rock music.

They were great, awesome, perfect! until there new album.

Linkin has never made one song that was not awesome. one song...
And then they go and make a whole horrible album that is just annoying to hear.

Well, frankly, I'd put Minutes to Midnight in the "junk album" category next to A Thousand Suns. M2M had one really good song, No More Sorrow, but the rest was kind of meh. The new single they put out sounds just pretty awful. I'm seriously disappointed gentlemen.

I used to like Linkin Park.

"Hybrid Theory" and "Meteora" were cool. Then I grew up, not only from Linkin Park, but other "Nu Metal" bands like Limp Bizkit. When you're 14, you think they're the best thing. 4 years on, and my taste in music has changed greatly. From "The Small Faces" to "Carcass" to "Ed Rush & Optical".

Good thing, I grew out of them, I listen to their new stuff now, and think Wtf? This is s**t.

Hybrid Theory is my all time favorite album. From there on, their music steadily lost its edge. Meteora was nowhere near as good as Hybrid, and M2M and Thousand suns are just not that good.

Hybrid Theory= Perfect!
Meteora= Amazing! but not as good as Hybrid Theory
Minutes to Midnight= Meh... A few good songs, but feels like they sold out
A Thousand Suns= *Put fingers in ears and shuts eyes* NA NA NA NA NA I CAN'T HEAR YOU! NA NA NA NA NA!

You know if you think about it their kind of like M. Night Shyamalan...

Oh, I love their new music! I think they keep getting better and better!
But it sucks when a band you like changes, for the worse.

I can't even listen to the new stuff. They lost the heavy sound and strong hooks they once had. Thumbs down.

They were great! ...When I was 13 and getting bullied at school and at home. Once in a while I will pull out HT if I'm really, REALLY pissed off, but overall they are crap.

That said, Mike (can't remember his last name) is a really intelligent, thoughtful, kind person. I don't want to bash them as individuals because their music isn't very good.
