Probably, because it's normal to crash down after a high. They're illegal drugs for a reason, ya know.

I don't really think that's how it works. It's illegal for other, much more political reasons.

But anyway. I noticed that for me, when I smoke later on in the night, it makes it difficult for me to get a decent's night rest. I can fall asleep and stay asleep just fine, but it feels like it wasn't a deep enough rest.

Other than that, though, I've never noticed depression the next day. Generally it makes me feel better in general, I can ignore my problems for a short time and just giggle at every stupid thing.

Of course. Nothing at all to do with the fact it causes schizophrenia and paranoia, along with damaging your lungs just like anything else you smoke...

As you mention anything you smoke damages your lungs, tobacco however is legal and it has addicting substances.

Alcohol can also cause serious lung problems if its not drank moderately yet if you are above legal age(from 16 to 21 depending on the area you are at) you can buy it at most places because its legal.

If polititians wanted to make it legal they wouldnt have many problems(its been legal in Amsterdan for years and they are one of the places with less drug adicted population )

You're better off going to Erowid for an answer that doesn't involve people getting on their high horse and lecturing you.

I used to smoke weed, but wasn't an absolute pothead. I enjoyed it from time to time.

Yeah. Like anything else you smoke. You are still smoking something and can expect it to have an affect on your body.

It only causes those things in certain people, usually those who are already inclined towards those problems. Not to say it doesn't affect "normal" people too, but it's a fairly harmless drug, comparatively. I'm not trying to say it's awesome and everyone should do it. But a lot of people believe a lot of incredibly stupid things about it. It is not half as bad as most people think.

That's the same way I felt, after trying a bit of weed, at a New Year's Eve party many years, ago.

I agree, I think that if weed is illegal, smoking should be too. Drinking can be done in moderation for the most part, but most people who smoke tobacco are addicted to it. I don't know the stats, but how many pot smokers are addicted to it? Compared to other drugs and tobacco?

But I think that's normal, with every substance, there's a high and a low, it just varies depending on the strength of the drug.

I've never done weed. I am planning on taking up smoking though.

Anyway, this is a good way to get addicted.

It's perfectly normal, I remember when I first smoked that I felt kind of cro-magnon the next day like my head was empty.

perfectly normal, but be responsible about how much you do of anything. Don't smoke when you have things you need to get done like homework or chores. I don't smoke pot that often because it interferes with my ability to prioritize. Oh and never use it as a way to make friends. I know its tempting but people who only hang out with you to try and sell you drugs are not your friends.

It is not a drug with a high rate of addiction. Someone may miss doing it if they don't for awhile, or feel like they need it to be the kind of person they are when stoned - but it's not a chemical addiction like cigarettes and alcohol are.
