Should condoms, birth control pills, and tube tying be banned?

A sperm cell is as much a lifeform as a week old fetish is. For those who are against abortion.

No, they aren't. they don't meet the 7 traits that all living things have. plus, as sperm and eegs will die as part of the body's natural functions and embryos will generally not, you'd be setting an unrealistic standard.

A week old fetish has much more life than a year old fetish.

If a spermatozoid is considered as a lifeform, each ejaculation is a genocide. EVEN if it leads to a pregnancy which ends with a birth.

A sperm has no more significance in and of itself than a germ. We kill germs and have no scruples. Why should we have scruples killing sperms. Besides most of them are going to die without fertilizing an egg anyway.

And what of a fertilized egg? It is not a sentient being so there is no wrong in its owner destroying it.

Most zygotes are spontaneously aborted (ie, miscarried in non-medical parlance) before they implant, and without the woman ever knowing that fertilization occurred.

Nope. Believing in God does not mean believing everything your nut job leaders tell you.

Believing in the bible does, Romans 13:1

"Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God."

considering the fact that being Christian ment commiting treason against Rome, I think that was more saying "do not violently oppose governing authorities." besides, there is ambiguity as to whom the authority has been given. I mean, revolutionaries like the founding fathers established a new government whle rebelling against an old one. who's authority was legit?
