If you could be any character from any movie, TV series, book, or video game, who would it be and why?

Probably Ryu from the game breath of fire III. He's the character I most identify with, lives in a ool world, and has the awesomest power of any video game protagonist ever. Plus as he is generally speaking a silent protagonist being him wouldn't change me in any real way, aside from having his powers and sweet cerulean hair of course.

Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood.

She's cute. She's got good common sense type smarts. She can stand up for herself (even against an angry vampire), she can read minds (except vampires), and she has two very sexy vampires and a shape shifter who have the hots for her.

Another character I would love to be is Maggie Mayhem from the movie "Whip It." I would be happy being any of the roller derby ladies in this film, including the lead, "Babe Ruthless" I liked Maggie Mayhem because she is a strong woman, about my age. She does what she wants, is no nonsense and seems to have a lot of fun.

Finally, I would like to be Lucky Santegello (I might be spelling this wrong). She's the strong character in Jackie Collins books (there have been a few made for tv movies based on this character). She is super attractive, sexy, strong, rich and has a great business sense.

Relatively uninformed answer: Rokusho from Medabots. A mysterious secondary character standing on the sidelines, bit of grief over the past but a neat cape.

Corporal Hicks from Aliens.

Though most of the Marines display a cocky swagger that they can deal with the determined xenomorph menace, Hicks has that quiet, sensitive and methodical attitude about him. Plus, he gives one xenomorph a mouthful of shotgun (EAT THIS!) and was one of 4 survivors  Until Alien 3 killed him off :x

Alice Kingsleigh from the 2010 Alice in Wonderland film. She and I are the same age, have the same hair, and are both dreamers who don't always abide by the rules of society. We also don't show much emotion, but we're very kind.

If I actually was Alice, I'd get to travel to a beautiful fantasy world and hang out with awesome people like the Red and White Queens and the Mad Hatter. Especially the Mad Hatter. :)

I'd also like to be Katrina Van Tassel from Sleepy Hollow or Mrs. Lovett from Sweeney Todd, because, like Alice, they are gorgeous, lovable women who get to hang out with Johnny Depp in a lush period piece.

Either Jo from 1994's "Little Women" or Susanna Kaysen from "Girl, Interrupted".

 You are truly our resident Mad Hatter! If I was in that movie, I would probably be the Cheshire Cat, because I consider myself WrongPlanet's resident Ghost! However, I wouldn't mind being Spock from Star Trek.

Olivia Dunham from Fringe...she has a super photographic memory, can hold in her liquor, can kick anyone's ass and look hot doing so.

Also how awesome is it that she can travel between alternate universes and start fires with her mind? :D

The one that comes to mind is the Trickster in the tv series Supernaturel, because being a creative reality bender with a sense of humour would be fun.

I'd be my favorite anime character, Haruko from FLCL!
Image
She's a pink haired alien that rides a vespa and plays bass. How cool is that?
And personality wise I can see quite a bit of myself in her: Immature, stubborn, quirky, etc.
However I'm nowhere near as outgoing as Haruko, but I'm trying my best to come out of my shell.
