Have NTs become irrelevant? If so,are we Aspies better qualified to rule?

Would you care to elaborate upon your thought processes

We are best off if no one rules.

LOL! My question was a facetious one, deliberately intended to elicit a response. It comes from an old 1970s vintage cartoon I once saw, where two robots are watching humans on tv, and one robot says to the other: "Are humans becoming irrelevant?" But I did hope to find out if anybody out there (besides me) ponders the future of the species. Will homo sapiens sapiens neuro typicalis be replaced by Aspies? Will homo sapiens sapiens neuro typicalis morph into homo sapiens sapiens neuro typicalis cyberenesis? Or will the species ,as a whole, become extinct?
Thoughts???

God knows! I am pessimistic about the future of the human race. We can split the atom and walk on the Moon but we are still acting like a bunch of Chimps in trees.

We have the knowledge to make the world a Utopia but we are still killing ourselves and despoiling the planet.

We go on about "the children are our future". The dear little innocent children.
Yet the dear little five year olds grow up to be drug taking, binge drinking violent teenagers who will make the same or worse choices than we did.

Then, is it our obligation to the future of the species, to attempt to outbreed the NTs?

Hell no. As a matter of fact, the transition from a stable, manufacturing based economy where mechanical/procedural skill determined the success of many entry-level workers to an insecure, retail service based economy where charisma and "networking with customers" determines success has probably undermined Aspies. Let's not forget that executive dysfunction and behavorial-cognitive rigidity still hinder many Aspie attempts to succeed and participate fully in the workplace/economy.

Aspies are best off in laboratories, work-shops, at computers or blackboards. As long as they relate to things or abstract concepts they are just fine and dandy.
