This is quite an embarrasing question but i am sure i am not the only one with this problem(i hope).
How do you dry yourself after a shower when it is your time of the month without getting blood on the towel?

Use a dark coloured towel when its your period.

Otherwise the 'vanish oxy action' stain remover powder gets rid of blood stains even when dried in.

It's possible but you need to act fast. Be ready with some paper towels. Thoroughly rinse the areas in question, and then quickly wipe with paper towels (front and back). Proceed with the cloth towel, dabbing dry only the inner thighs and cheeks.

As an option, you could shower with a tampon (or as I like to call them, Lady Corks) to reduce the flow.

I rinse myself very thorough there with water in the shower and then I take a paper tissue to dab myself dry between my legs before I dry myself with a towel.

Luckily my periods aren't as heavy these days, and I am able to dry myself without any blood getting on the towel. I have to dry that area straight away after I get out.

You can always wear a tampon, and then change it or remove it after you dry off and get dressed. With a tampon its very easy to avoid wayward blood.

Its good to get as much off as possible while in the shower.

Just buy a black towel/dark red or purple towel - even if it's just a hand-towel that you keep for that particular use. It's less wasteful than using paper towels and having to buy special stain removers.

If you use tampons, it is a non-issue.

Rinse thoroughly and do nothing to stimulate flow. Should stop long enough to dry, but use a reddish-brown towel to be sure, or if your reddish-brown towel is dirty, you can use navy blue.

If nothing works, remember you're sticking an absorbent pad up there immediately; it doesn't have to be perfect. Make sure to get your thighs and if your privates are a little damp, that'll just help keep your pad from chafing.

I immediately dry the area with toilet paper and put a tampon in.

I put toilet paper down there over my where the blood comes out and then remove it after I put on underwear with a pad in it.

I just keep my cup in. But usually it's not a constant flow - you will have a couple minutes between rinsing (which I do just before I turn off the water) and putting on underpants. I use black towels anyway, but if I didn't have any, I always keep a couple towels on hand that are allowed to get messed up.
