Actually, there are reports of George Soros also spending money to try to take out Glenn Beck and Soros' number two man actually tried to intimidate one of Glenn Beck's employees.

If there is massive hyperinflation you won't even be able to buy a loaf of bread with a wheel barrel full of legit $20 bills.

Also the hyper inflation in real estate values occurred because Government forced banks to make loans to people that couldn't afford them.

Again, the government never forced any bank to make any loan to anyone. Hyper-inflation resulted from the ARM's and non documentation loans that the banks made completely by themselves. Stop making stuff up, please!

I already posted something regarding the evidence of this as has at least one other individual. You are just in denial.

As for Glenn Beck, the day where he goes off-air cannot come soon enough. What precisely is posting a conversation between two opinioned commentators supposed to prove anyway. This is not news. These are opinions. This is the equivalent of someone posting an interview between Bill Maher and Rachel Maddow and claiming their discussion alone can serve as factual evidence. Facts must be backed by verifiable evidence in order to be called facts. This what Fox viewers often forget. The line between news and editorial has been blurred passed the point of distinction, hence the confusion by the masses. You can't get the story straight until you get the facts straight.

I don't recall people putting up large sums of money for the express purpose of smearing Rachel Maddow or Bill Maher. If Glenn Beck was as off the mark as those two he would pretty much be ignored, the fact they are trying so hard to shut him up actually makes me wonder if he is actually on to something.

Facts matter. If you can't produce any, you don't have a case.

You are indeed Fox's perfect customer.

Actually he has presented stuff in the past that people could do their own research, I really just don't want to take the time to hunt it all down again, especially since you would just simply ignore it.

That's just stuff concerning the mortgage crisis. The last video is material from C-Span. ENJOY.

You clearly don't understand what an op ed even looks like. Op Ed = opinion editorial. Everything you posted is an op ed. I could just as easily post an even larger number of links to op eds that oppose these views, but why bother. If it doesn't come out of O'Reilly's or Beck's mouth, you'd just dismiss it anyway.

I just said the last video was from C-Span and recordings of a hearing in 2004. Also, an opinion from a reputable source that does their research (from a source like Wall Street Journal) is certainly a valid source.

You're accusing me of the very thing you are doing right now. Have you ever even watched Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly, better still listen to them for a few monthes and then do your own fact checking independent from what the talking heads at MSNBC say.

Edit Found a link with a nice video from an SNL skit.

"Rolling Dude Heavy" topic

Or rolling a heavy dude. What a meme! Quite paranoid, and anything to keep his body in the light, even if his mind strays in the dark.

Has he come across the viciousness of child abuse online? Has he spoken out against it? Does he know anyone who has been a victim?

Methinks he protests too much. Journalistic junk juggernaut. GB is a garbage bag. Do not recycle, or reuse.

@ sartresue

And if he did comment on the bogus accusations you would be calling him guilty and just denying he committed the crimes.

Beck and crawl topic

I find it strange he would use such a strong defence if he did nothing. Odd, just out of the blue like that. IMO he did this just to prolong his fifteen minutes of fame, which has been going on much too long. And if he has done something wrong, he will be outed, but not by himself.

I do not buy into self-proclaimed and sarcastic victimhood wailings, which I see as pathological/psychopathological. If it ain't broke, do not fix it.

So how do you explain George Soros and co. offering hundreds of thousands of dollars to come up with anything they can to smear Beck. He's clearly gotten someone worried.

Aha topic

This is a case of damned if you do and do not. I have no interest in Beck, and I only commented because I was questioning why someone--anyone--would worry about non existent nastiness thrown at them. As for the money, this is just silly, and encourages fraud. :P

Well maybe that's cause Soros doesn't care if the story is true or not, it is smear Beck with anything he can and hope something sticks.

maybe soros should get some crazy radio talkshow host to go on tv and connect glenn beck to all sorts of ridiculously unconnectable dots.

he could use a chalk board.

You mean like the folks over at NPR and the bankrupt Air America? They haven't been able to come up with anything remotely credible against Beck and it hasn't been for a lack of trying.

What "hyperinflation" are you people talking about? We actually had some mild deflation in the aftermath of the market crash. Certainly America has never seen anything approaching hyperinflation, nor is our government pursuing policies that are known to lead to hyperinflation.

This just sounds like the sort of random paranoia you normally see from paleocons and conspiracy nuts.

that's a great point. do you feel that there is currently an equivalent to beck elsewhere in the media?

In what way, for all of Beck's antics (and if you watched his show at length) he is kind of like a conservative version of John Stewart or Stephan Colbert though more seriously oriented on the news.

You mistake him trying to be a comedian for being nuts.

Yes, he is a comedian at times, that doesn't mean he is not sane. A lot of people use humor to keep from getting too depressed. He also enjoys poking fun at himself as well as the made up stories about him by the far-left.
