My dad went to some banquet for his work today and the drummer for Slipknot was there and auctioned off his drums for a charity (I think). Anywho, my dad got his autograph for me, but I'm not into Slipknot..Ebay? :D just kidding.

I've never understood the big idea about autographs personally. I mean, celebrities and famous people may have the whole world as their playpen and be able to buy whatever the hell they want but in the end they are just one more human of the 6.5 billion here today. (exceptions would be people who have actually done something extraordinary/to change history such as Alexander the Great, Jesus etc.). But then again that's just my opinion.

Do you think he would of been impressed if your father took the people=shite song litterally and spoke the lyrics in symobilism presenting a couple of lego people figures and then proceed to cover them in some freshly aquired dog turd from off the street?

Its all art after all

Personally I consider Slipknot to be as close to "art" as the new Paris Hilton song, but that's just my opinion. :P
