hiya,

its amazing, i go looking for the double wishbone lenths for the lotus elise and i end up on the challenger 2 tank page of wikipedia.

here are some facts i thought may be intresting.

It is the only mordern tank that has a rifled main gun.

its main gun is 120mm in diameter.

it has a V12 desiel engine which produces 1200 hp

bye injecting desil into the exhust it can create a smaokescreen ( i presume not to enviromentally freindly!)

since thier use in iraq only one has been lost. it was lost in blue on blue (otherwise know as freindly fire) and was destryed by anothe challenger. 2 of the crew were killed.

it has secound genration hydrogas suspension

hope this intrests some of you :D

jammie
