Eternal Sunshine looks very good but I didn't see it.

Best one I saw was Fahrenheit 9/11.

The Passion had good intentions and parts of it do work but I think it was overrated because it was so hyped.

The only other movies I saw were Master and Commander (pretty good) and The Day After Tomorrow (might be worth renting now after the tsunami).

Shaun of the Dead and Napoleon Dynamite were both GREAT movies...

They both represent realistic people in messed up circumstances... that's all real life is... flawed characters in messed up circumstances trying to do their best...

Ghost in the Shell 2 Innocence all the way baby.

My DVD arrives tomorrow (heard the subtitles suck on the DVD release).

Mamoru Oshi is quite a visionary.

A robot (who was once a human hacker) wirelessly hacks into the brains of two detectives (one is a cyborg) who are on their way to ask him questions about a sex robot murder case.

During the course of the movie it is sometimes unclear whether a figure is a human, robot, cyborg, holographic projection, or a daydream.

The Bourne Supremacy gets an honorable mention.

I loved Napoleon Dynamite and Eternal Sunshine.

I've been horribly slack by not seeing Shaun of the Dead yet, 'cause I'm a huge zombie/pommie humour fan.

...No, I don't mean "I'm a huge zombie who likes pommie humour" I'm not huge, I'm just wearing loose clothing. Gosh! :x :P

Most of the movies I've watched this year are old favourites- I've seen a couple of newer films this year that I enjoyed. I really enjoyed Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind. Shaun of the dead was fun too :) (unlike Dawn of the dead that really did suck).

They had the polar express here for about 3 days, when no body showed up, they took it down. Has any one seen Blade Trinity? Me and Anna went to see it for a date.

I liked Shrek 2 and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (obviously)

I am a huge movie lover, but those two are the only ones that come to mind at the moment. I sadly haven't been to see any new movies for the past month. There are loads I want to see, and I will have to catch up!
