Can you describe a typical aspie-girl? Describe her appearance and the reasons which cause this appearance. Also her behaviour is also interesting. If you can, describe her particularly? Besides this it would be interesting to know which internals can show that girl is not a typical aspie girl (but she is aspie)

Well rather than having many of the males here guess what their ideal version of a female aspie is, why don't we hear from some of the females on the board? I bet there is a huge difference between what male aspies think female aspies are like and what they're really like.

I'm honestly looking for an Aspie girl now. I've tried dating "normal girls" and at this point I figure why not, I'll try someone whom struggles the same as I, the only problem is they don't wear signs around their neck saying that they are Aspie girls (maybe if they did they could start a cool new fashion trend...eh?...Nothing?...*cricket chirps, man coughs in the back of audience*...Nah, I didn't think so...lol). Anyway, I think it might be easier as far as someone whom is at least a little sympathetic to my plight.

Typically

No two aspies are completely alike and they like different things.

Typically she might not be too fussed about dressing to fit in, or she may be obsessed with it. You won't be able to tell if she's aspie by looking at her.

I wrote something in here somewhere about more likely places to find aspies, but I don't think there is any such thing as a "typical aspie". I think that if we could be "typical" we wouldn't be "aspie".

See the trhead on aspie girls= tomboys.
You might not even see many aspie girls in RL settings (apart from work): they are probably at home on their computers, reading a book or watching TV!

All I can say is the aspie population is just as diverse as the NT population.

There is no set criteria that I would describe aspie girls, I've been at this board for a long time and met a lot of different people.

According to you other people, I don't fit the criteria.. but I am 100% aspie. If you knew me in real life you would know after talking to me or getting to know me, and all this says is the same as the top line of my post.

and just out of interest.. those of you who are generalising aspie girls as tomboys, geeks with glasses ect, how many have you actually met?

hmm I feel this might have something to do with a common aspie love of sorting things into their rightful categories, and the criteria you need to do this for aspies is not as obvious as the criteria for sorting smarties (m&ms)

That's what I mean. Many assume all aspies are like the stereotypical aspie. There's also a general feeling that being a female aspie is incompatible with things that supposedly only NT females like, such as fashion and 'all that superficial crap', as some like to put it.

I have long hair, I cover my ears with it to protect my ears from noise around me.
