I was wondering if these characters offend
I find them to be friendly and not mean
Usually they have the best stories
And they almost steal the show
Abeds realtion to tv
And Sheldons everything
Helped in finding my AS
Yes they are exaggerated
And people might not percieve the whole picture of AS
But I always believed that TV was how people really were
Well my picture of NTs and the whole rest of the world
Was exaggerated and wrong
So its a fair trade
I have my characters
NTs have theirs
Everyone is entertained and confused

I know what show Abed is on, but I don't remember the name of it...I've only seen it once.

But I looove Sheldon. He does steal the show. I'm in love with his character

Abed = Community
Sheldon = Big Bang Theory

According to the creators of TBBT, Sheldon doesn't have Asperger's.

Also, stop abusing the enter key. You don't need to hit "enter" after every sentence.

You ARE hitting the enter key too much, but I kinda like it. I find myself imagining your posts like a poem in my head. And those TL;DR paragraphs some people use are terrible, so bravo for being aware of that tendency and avoiding it.

Let's be honest with ourselves here: the idea of WP having a warm accepting side is laughable

But I love Community and Abed might just be the most accurate portrayal of AS I have ever seen on television if there were such a thing.

@countfred I was actually reading your posts in the Abed voice. But what you say is more important than how you say it.

any time an autistic character shows up they are never "labled" with that they have because as soon as they do the creators are attacked for not showing the type of autism the right way or showing that "type" of autism and not "this" type.

Sheldon most likey does have Aspergers and the actor does a great job at it.

Yet, the actor who portrays him said he couldn't be more aspie.

It probably wasn't the creators' initial intention to make him an aspie, it just kinda happened by accident, but he definitely has aspie traits (social ackwardness, doesn't get sarcasm, rigid routines, etc).
