I do. Anytime someone pretends to throw something at me, I always flinch, no matter what the object is.

I used to, but am no longer quite so anxious and hyper-alert. I still flinch more than most people, though, so I suppose that counts as a "yes."

Rarely at loud noises, but frequently if someone tries to touch me. God, I hate that.

Yes, I try to keep this hid as best I can because people think it's funny. I once had a job were my co-workers found out I flinch easily and so they were always trying to scare me. I told the boss, he did not think it was a problem. I had to quit.

I flinch a lot, even when it's something expected like if I throw something in the air and have to catch it.

I used to, but I've learned to hold myself rigid against all involuntary physical and emotional reactions. The consequences of that are such that I think it might be better to let myself flinch once in a while.

Yes. At noises. They don't even have to be loud. just unexpected. Also when people touch me to get my attention. My dad forgets this sometimes. The last time he tried to tell me something when I was plugged into my ipod, and I didn't hear him so he nudged my arm with his elbow, which I didn't like. I was in the process of pulling out my earbud, and he thought I still wasn't paying attention. I saw his elbow coming toward me again through the corner of my eye, and I reflexively yanked my arm away so he couldn't jab me again. This hurt his feeings and made him mad. He refused to tell me what it was he was trying to get my attention about. I don't know how to tone down the flinches. They just happen.

Yep. At noises. At sudden light touch. When a car passes the car I'm in. My spatial ability is poor. I usually think the car will collide with the one I'm in. When people throw things at me or suddenly talk to me. When people say or write down my name. Even my screen name.

I flinch at loud noises.

I thought it was interesting that I noticed Dan Akroyd flinching/blinking when he fired his pistols in Grosse Point Blank. I don't think I had ever seen anyone else do that before in a movie. Outside of movies I assumed (and generally still assume) everyone does.

I attempt to suppress my urge to flinch at loud noise and sudden movements, however, my attempts are usually in vain.

Also, I like your avatar, Kai.
