This poll is to see which co-existing conditions people with autism or Asperger's have been diagnosed with

Nothing but Aspergers here, as far as I know. Probably a smattering of anxiety and depression, but nothing to write home about. And probably some degree of executive disfunction, though that could be nothing but the natural, direct consequenses of autism. Not that I've been extensively tested for anything but AS.

I couldn't answer the poll, because I have more than one of the options listed. Aside from Asperger's, I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety, Major Depression, and ADD. I'm also pretty sure that I have OCD, though I haven't been diagnosed with that.

Possibly Selective Mutism, especially noticeable when I was a kid.

Schizophrenia currently (and this is not good) precludes Asperger's but not autism. It's just in an autistic person it can only be diagnosed if the person has hallucinations or delusions.

Only got diagnosed with Asperger's and depression but I'm pretty sure I have other problems such as ADHD, social anxiety, selective mutism, or perhaps some sort of anti-social disorder with some paranoias in the mix as well. I was tested for ADHD when I was around 3 or 4 but the doctor said I was fine. But as far as I know doctors aren't very good at diagnosing such disorders in children.

Unfortunately until I can move out of my parents and see a psych on my own without my parents knowing, I'll never know if I may have other issues that have gone untreated. I can never be sure of what part of myself is mentally healthy and what is not.

I have social anxiety, general anxiety, and depression (fortunately not now). My psychologist and I also half-joke that I have sensory anxiety disorder because so many of my anxiety problems are related to sensory issues. I also have dealt with selective mutism - mostly in elementary school, but even now it flares up when I'm extremely socially anxious.

Nothing diagnosed. However, I'm incredibly maladroit/gauche (I have trouble making my way round the shop floor in my charity shop- tables bang in the middle of a space etc, getting off my bike needs a deep breath taking) so I might have a shadow of dyspraxia. My mother has hinted at me having depression. Although in the past I have always dismissed the idea of my having some sort of depression, I think it might be likely that I had a touch of it at some point. In the last couple of years at my old school, I was feeling desperate and yet also desperately tired. But then again, maybe I was just getting in touch with my NT teenage hormones...

I won't answer the poll because I don't know: I thought I had OCD until I figured out I had aspergers. Now I don't know if I have OCD or if I just have really unhelpful stims.

Diagnosed: ADHD- Inattentive type, motor dyspraxia, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, dysthymia, eating disorder not otherwise specified.

Strongly suspected based on a great deal of evidence: Sensory integration dysfunction, nonverbal learning disorder

BS nonsensical diagnoses that I've been labeled with in the past: Adjustment disorder, personality disorder not otherwise specified.

I have OCD, in addition to AS. I also have panic attacks (not panic disorder, though) and qualify for GAD and NVLD diagnoses, too. But OCD is my main problem, and that's why I voted for it alone.

Formally diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and aspergers. I think I have OCPD (different than OCD) but haven't looked into it too much.

Diagnosed: autism, ADHD, PMDD (although think it has gone down to just PMS), dysmenorrhea.

Misdiagnoses: Severe depression. I've only had dysthymia.

I also have a bit of social anxiety.

Maybe have temporal lobe epilepsy. Actually pretty damn sure of it. A bit of myoclonus and clonic tonic in there too.
Maybe have mild dyspraxia.

I chose sensory processing disorder. My sensory issues are pretty bad. I have moderate synesthesia too which isn't a disorder but because of my SPD.
