Guys, I need help ASAP. Summer's here, and I can't seem to motivate myself to do anything! For example, when I decide to listen to a CD or two, by the time I get to the CD player, I feel too lazy to do so, or when I decide to watch a movie, I keep on putting it off until there isn't enough time to watch the whole entire thing! And it's really annoying me because whenever I think about doing anything, I feel lazy to actually do it, and before the summer rolled around, this wasn't a problem. I want my life back!! !

Do you have any idea when was the last time you had your life? You just need to remember where you last placed your life and you should easily be able to recover it. I'd recommend checking underneath the couch, your bed, and in all of your pockets; that's where things typically wind up.

Try making a schedule for every day during the week and stick with it as much as possible. If you can get another person or two involved in your schedule, it will be easier to stick with it. Also, be sure to allow some flexibility within the schedule. For instance:

Monday
8:30 - Wake up
9:00 - Get dressed/shower
9:30 - Eat breakfast
10:00 - Computer time
12:00 - Lunch time (this can correspond with Multimedia time)
1:00 - Multimedia time (music, movie, games, etc.)
3:00 - Outdoor activity time (swimming, walking, running, sitting outside and reading, running errands, anything that does not invlove being in the house)
5:00 - Visit with friend
7:00 - Dinner time
8:00 - Computer time
10:00 - Bed time

Tuesday's schedule can be exactly the same as Monday's schedule or it can have a variation. Just try to stick with doing what's on your schedule for that day. You'll be a little more productive and you can anticipate the activities. Be sure to stay pretty flexible and allow yourself a fall back activity in case a scheduled activity is cancelled. Let's say you went to see a friend during your multimedia time instead of the usual visit with friend time. Your multimedia time is cancelled. You can switch the times or replace them with something else.

I hope this helps!

i know somewhat how you feel there are things i've once loved that i have givin up for one reason or another.
like i used to love paying on my game systems but now i can't seem to find any motivation to do so.
i've also basicly stopped watching tv.
the main things i do normaly is listen to music do stuff on my computer and let torch 2\3 invaded and take over my mind but that's really all i do.
for me it really all went down hill when i was diagnosed after that day i let that part of me die.
so i get where your coming from.
but me i don't fight it it's impossible to do anyway.

I know how you feel, it's the same with me. I would make plans to do something for tomorrow then when the day comes i just have negative thoughts about it no matter how much i used to enjoy doing it. Yesterday i went to the gym and i had no motivation to do it and wanted to get out of the building as quickly as possible just to be at home.

I'm going to play football (soccer) with my cousin and brother in law in a few hours time but deep down i just want to stay indoors away from it all.

Good luck with everything anyway
