Wouldn't be the first time for poor old john...

There’s a lot of depression floating around this site. I mentioned it to my boss and she said she wasn’t surprised. Young adulthood is supposed to be the time of your life (according to “them”). It helps a lot if we can lighten up a little bit and even laugh at ourselves. It does get better. Remember, we’re late bloomers, and more beautiful for it.

That is so true! Man, it all makes sense now. That's the first time Garfield has ever gotten something remotely resembling a chuckle from me, and those were edited!

You know, that early version of John looks very simular to the famous character "Peter Griffen" from Family Guy. It's pretty Humorious.
