Just saw the trailer for this and Max looks like a definite Aspie. Thoughts?

*spoiler*

His character is diagnosed with Asperger's in the movie. It's definitely a moving and interesting watch (the que cera scene is crazy, you'll know what I mean when you get there).

That's so odd; I just ordered this the other day, (I have a thing for animated films!) but had never heard of it before.
The reviews really praise it; although I hadn't read the synopsis until after I ordered it. I really should stop doing that!
As AkindOfJareth says Max has Asperger's in it; that's what the synopsis said anyway.....

I've seen a clip for that movie. It looks very depressing. I think I'm going to steer clear of it.

First of all the movie is called Mary and Max not Max and Mary, lrn2google. Second of all, if you'd seen the movie instead of making a pointless thread based off having seen a trailer you'd realize that Max has Aspergers in the film.

It is an AMAZING movie - I would definitely recommend it!! There are some historical inaccuracies - usually, those kinds of things annoy the hell out me in movies, and I can't get past them. However, this movie was so good, that it more than made up for that!!

It's a brilliant movie and I cried during it. So bittersweet it hurts.

I liked the movie a lot. It's funny but sad at the same time.

See it.

And it's based on a true story.

I've just watched this film. I loved both the characters, and it's definitely worth watching. Not particularly cheery, but real life doesn't seem to be either. *wanders off to make a chocolate hotdog*
