I've always had a habit of pacing whenever I'm not occupied and sitting down, does this fall under the category of stimming? Does anyone else experience this?
Also, I nod my head to music (or, music that I'm at least moderately enjoying) 100% of the time, and don't know anyone that does it beyond any degree but rarity. Any similar experiences?

I don't know if it's considered a stim, but both of those are very common for aspies. I do both, all the time.

I would have to say it is. A lot of times I day dream when I do it.

Yes it is. I barely do it. Well only when bored.

My legs occasionally just get the urge to walk. I end up pacing a lot in the winter. During other seasons I go on super long walks like 5-6 miles. These usually happen when I am stressed out a lot or thinking really hard on something, so it is probably a stim for me.

I pace a lot.. Have a strip of patio I keep clear obsessively for that purpose.. I currently have a twisted ankle and am still pacing several times a day
I do it when I am analysing, worrying, or daydreaming.. I'd say for me it probably counts as stimming.
I also nod my head kinda strangely when I'm nervous on the phone.. Just noticed that the other week lol..
And I rock if I am listening to music and not concentrating on anything else e.g. typing this, I pause to think for a moment, rock a little, stop rocking when i get back into typing

Can a stim be part of one's routine?
