Not being an employee of Yahoo, the straightest answer I can give is - I don't think so, my account is working fine.

All 3 of my yahoo accounts are working fine too.

For some reason, mine is down. That is why I unchecked the box stating to notify me when a reply to this thread is posted. This problem may affect just me, but I'm not sure. I read in another thread on another forum that this has happened before, one person could not check their Yahoo mail, while others could. What do you suppose has happened?

One possible explanation could be that one of their mail servers has gone down - they have a fair number. Also there may be authentication problems affecting the accounts of a section of members dealt with by a single server, so you might just be unlucky. Hopefully it should be ok soon Jason

Are you not able to log in or can you just not getting mail through?? When I've had problems logging in before, but choosing secure log in lets me in.

Yahoo was just loading very slowly for a while, but it is working fine now. I am able to send messages.

Wow! Just yesterday, I thought Yahoo was down once again, but I was able to send another message? Does anyone know why they tried to fool us like that?

Are you using the free yahoo mail ? if so you have to share slower servers. I have a paid for yahoo email account works faster and much less downtime and i can from looking at my firewall see it uses a diffrent server if you pay for it.
