James Durbin, amazing aspie on Idol

I'm not sure how many of you watch American Idol, but I'm hooked this season. James Durbin, who has talked openly about his personal challenges with Asperger's and Tourette's, is in the top 12 this year. Last night, his solo performance actually made me cry.

Next week is the first round of live performances and voting can be done either by phone or through Facebook for the first time this year. I've never gotten into the show enough to want to vote for any particular contestant in the past, but will have to vote this year because I want to see James stick around!

I'm so happy he made it through! He's inspiring to an Aspie like me. I will be voting for him next week. His singing reminds me of Adam Lambert. There needs to be more rockers and less teen pop-singers.

I'm really hoping for this Season to have an Asperger Idol! Go James! :D

Asperger Idol...that's cool, I like that. I'm rooting for him too!
as a performer myself, he is inspiring!

Well, I hope he wins. I haven't watched Idol in a few years. Maybe if I remember it is on, I'll try to catch some of it.
