UK Skins?

Im american and i just started watching.
i watched all the episodes that have come out, and i absolutely love it.
i find myself getting really attached to characters and then something dramatic happens and gets me all emotional.
does anyone else watch it?

Well, I watched some of the first lot of Skins...but last season was truly terrible, this one isn't much better. The first set of characters were fantastic, the show was great then, but no one I know likes the following seasons...it's a shame it got so bad

I don't really see what's so bad about the new generations. Well, maybe some seem a bit stereotypical like the creators have tried too hard, but I suppose it's all just a matter of opinion.

I loved the first two series of it, but like most other people I agree, it has never been nearly as good with the second and third generation. I'll just re-watch the original series from time to time.

Anyways, even though my life is absolutely nothing like their's, what with me having AS and being a complete social outcast, I still enjoy seeing what might be happening in everyday neurotypical british teenage life.

Did you know there is a Skins movie in the works? They are bringing back the original cast, from what I have read. I just hope it happens.

Im from the US also and we have a version of skins here too but after watching skins UK i feel in love ! 1 - 3 too be exact

i've watched some. i like the style in which it's produced/edited and the character concepts.

what i do not like is all the wannabe teens it has created. if you know what i mean.

Thanks to this thread, I started watching this show last night on Netflix. Now I'm hooked on it too. I wasn't expecting to like it, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I love the style of the show and the fact that it's character-driven. I can't wait to see more episodes!
