What are your most recurring fixations?

For me, my most recurring fixations would be sailing vessels, naval combat, WWII, space warfare, Latin, Monolithic domes, lasers, mathematics, Cold War era aircraft, and coins.

Sharks, Wolverine, horror movies, literature.

Guitar, drawing and video games. Guitar has been an interest for half my life and the other two have been there since early childhood. They all come in waves of off and on though. so there are times where I've still had nothing interesting to fixate on, and then times like now which I am fixated on all three in moderation

The one passion that keeps coming back to me, is The Kinks.

Zombies, Star Trek, anthropology, science, entomology, and the human condition.

animals, fanfiction, money..

A correctly programmed DVD recorder, a clean shower room, a happy cat companion and will my neighbour cause anguish and trouble today.

I believe that I enjoy very much viewing tennis matches upon my television and following the happy statistics of tennis. ^^ In addition, I believe that I enjoy happy video games very much so and also Science Fiction programs, for instance Quantum Leap and Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Hmmm. British and Scandinavian heavy metal music, animals, several authors (H. P. Lovecraft, Vladimir Nabokov, Mikhail Bulgakov, etc.), cooking, sewing.
Recently, I am thinking about rekindling my old knitting skills. I was pretty good at knitting when I was young and I liked it as it calmed me down very effectively.

The other two that keep popping up are The British 60s and Routemasters.

The one that shows up about the same time every year is Christmas.

music from the dawn of recorded sound, up to the early 90s or so. as i get older i'm gradually learning to appreciate newer music, so at my present rate it will be perhaps in the year 2030 or so before i can start digging music of the present day, if i live that long.

Deducing why people behave the way they do and trying to predict their future actions.
The science behind when things go wrong- cancer, plagues, disasters, discrimination. I like all science really; it is how I understand the world.
Still that can be cold and artificial, I have to play and feel something too. I think nature, sometimes animals, and what I call 'the art in the world about me' provides that.
I like to test my limitations to see how far I can go before I fail. Physical endurance is easiest though I try in other aspects of life too. It is frustrating and humbling.
More specifically I used to collect coins, sports cards, books, and things I would like to try potentially.

Tim Burton movies, specifically Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd. I think I'm too emotionally invested in this special interest to just "drop" it.

I also keep returning to steampunk, because it combines my love of Victorian England with my love for technology. It's a real shame that there isn't nearly as many books, TV shows, movies and musical artists based on it as there are for other genres of sci-fi/fantasy.
