sorry if this turns into a double post...

but i am having issues playing the 6kb limbo game with my desired avatar pic.

i originally found it as a 24kb jpeg and i just cant seem to get it down to 6kb. the jpeg pic compression/quality options won't let me go below 14... even when i play with actual size and get the file itself down to 50 pixels (5kb), it still tacks on that 14kb at the end and I can't make it work.

I've tried other file formats but I just can't seem to make it work. Any ideas?

would hosting it on the web somehow help?

As long as you link it off-site it should work, regardless of the filesize or dimensions. Imageshack would probably be the best way to go for hosting it.
