I sometimes feel this way. I am still in Middle School so I guess I'll have a better opportunity in High School.

When I was in the 8th grade, I thought I'd have a boyfriend in high school. I didn't.

However, now that I'm in college, there's been one guy who has expressed an interest in me, and he even told me that he'd like to go out with me. While we're not officially "going out" yet, I can definitely see something starting between us.

One thing that I'd recommend is that you see if your high school has a Gay-Straight Alliance. That's where I met my current quasi-boyfriend.

If you don't find a BF/GF in high school, then it's no big deal. You could always find one in college - assuming you go to college, of course.

I didn't meet my first/only bf until I was 28.

Believe me, you have time.

There are times where I think that it would be nice to have someone by my side, but there are also times where i'd rather be single. x3

I don't really care for a relationship in the end. I'll just go with the flow.

I didn't have a relationship till I was 20 in the 7 years sense it's been over i felt like I would never find anyone else. The more I treid; the more problems I've had & I eventually realized that I'm much better off not trying to find one. Unless we start having arranged marriages or I somehow come into money & can move to anotehr country that does; I'm spending the rest of my life alone

I hope that one day my 'love' will find his way into my heart.
Untill that day comes, i'll be waiting for the right one.

Some times I wonder about that. But it doesn't worry me at the moment because honestly I'm not ready for a relationship. I feel like an 11 year old almost: I find the idea of a relationship to be appealing but also weird and awkward. Anyway, I have trouble opening up to people, so I find the idea of being that close to someone a little scary. But I suspect once I meet the right person these shouldn't be a huge problem.

I know how you feel. 41 in gay years might as well be 81 and it's so difficult to even try. I keep messing up on-line friendships much less try one in person.

Well that's pretty shallow, isn't it? No wonder I never much cared for that culture.
