When I type in anything in that little box at the top of the WP site (the one with the ''search'' button next to it), it comes up with this:

403. That’s an error. (edited to keep page format)

Like, WTF????? There isn't even anything I can do about it. Anyone else had this before on WP when trying to search for a specific topic? I don't like searching through the index because it'd take forever to go through very page one by one just to search for something - it's such a better way to type in what I want and have it come up, or have the closest to it come up.

If you want to chat about a specific topic you can always create your own new thread instead of searching for an old one and posting to a conversation that has sometimes been dead for months or years. You are more likely to get a response that way.

Yeh, then when I do that I get people replying things like ''there is already X of these threads already - why don't you search the forum before making a new thread?''

There is a workaround to finding any threads but you would have to go on Google to do that, please bare in mind you would have to contact either Alex or TOGGI3 about this problem.

There is a workaround.

Go to Google then type [ site:wrongplanet.net <Name of username/thread here> ] but without the brackets.

Hopefully that should work for you.
