I'm Fiona. I'm from Ireland. I was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome two years ago at the age of 16 (which I understand is quite a late diagnosis) and heard about this website from some of the other Aspies that I have met as a result of my diagnosis. All you really need to know about me is that I'm interested in history, science, music, animation and animals. Especially that last one. I. Love. Animals!

First off, welcome!

My name is Daniel, from Canada, and I was diagnosed with the condition when I was 4, according do a giant file my dad has of me haha...

History, last year I liked it, but this year is kind of boring lol. What kind of history? "Modern" history? (WWII, Cold War, etc.)

Science, no thank you, though i'm good with physics, math etc.

Music, what kind? I like metal and classic rock, as evident in my name. I used to play guitar, but I got bored with it, I'd like to get a drum set sometime soon.

Animation, as in, computer animation? I like computers, but i HATE artistic stuff...

Animals, I have a dog, I like dogs, cats, but I wouldn't be able to work in a place like a zoo, shelter etc. Yuck! Dx

Good to know that I'm not the only one who smiled at thinking being diagnosed at 16 is late. I would think knowing at 16 is better than trying to think that if you try a little harder you'll iron out all your kinks, which is what I thought at your age. Good luck in life, God Bless!
