first and foremost i love and am very proud to be an aspie. that being said some things people say to me can really really hurt and it stays in my mind for a very long time when these things are said to or around me.

the two terms that feel like a dagger i nmy chest are being called "ret*d", or "creeper" i absolutely hate to hear either of those words especially when its in reference to me.

what words hurt you the most that hateful people tend to use?

I agree with you. People don't realize that words are weapons. The word that hurts me the most is being called a ret*d

Weird and strange do it for me, also "psycho", "retared" and "special needs". Also someone called me "common" once and I felt like pushing them in front of a car.

My contribution may not count because I'm still trying to figure out exactly what I am... but the one I get that cuts the deepest is "head case".

"pathetic" or anything that means that. Also "ret*d" or "stupid". But I don't get called names to my face often. Somehow I've mastered a way to make people fear any confrontation with me
I guess I'd rather have them calling me scary, freaky or even psycho than any of above

For me I just say words back when people call me names.

I mean it hurts when I my friends say something but I kind of know that they don't mean it.
I get "creepy" "b***h" "weird" "awkward" and "moron" but whenver I get called them I always make a funny joke.
As long as you're humorous f**k it nobody cares.

Being called ret*d hurts me the most.

Stupid is the one that hurts the most because I can't stand to have my intelligence questioned . ret*d can hurt a little, but God forbid someone say that to/in front of my brother. I hate being refered to like I'm some kind of animal. Still, I got over being called fat, ugly, klutzy and weird (still, the words can get to me over time).

Honestly I never get offended by creepy, insane, pyscho, or ginger anymore unless someone I truly love is calling me it. I'm too used to it.

Being told, "You don't talk much", gets me.

Creepy is the worst because it is subjective. Everything else such as "stupid" or "strange" or "quiet" are objective. Objective ideas can be dis-proven.

Being called "cute" or having my artwork or anything I produce called that...really, if anything pisses me off,it's when my mother compares me to my regular friends who achieved a lot more than I supposedly have.It hurts so much and is so insensitive!

One phrase has haunted me my whole life; "What's wrong with you?!"

Always after a mispoken word - something literal, or insensitive, or out of context. Being too blunt was the worst culprit.

At least now I know the answer!
