Since I was a kid I would wonder what kind of life is out there in the universe. Now this may sound crazy but since the series then the recent movie, I will (during meteor showers or other cosmic events) go outside and raise my thumb high in the air
hoping to catch a ride. Wishful thinking I guess. But you never know. . .
If it were only possible. sigh.
With my luck, I'd probably be picked up by someone (if you know the anime series Onegai/Please Teacher) personality wise as Hatsuho Kazami. Not that I would complain about it.

Are you talking about H2G2? You really need to read the books. No thumb sticking involve. You also need so sub-etha stuff.

Anywho, you can get alot farther with a lentora. Or even just a crystal.

I was just using the "thumb in the air" as a reference. And who's to say in other parts of the galaxy or universe for that matter that the same method isn't used to ask for a ride.

Man I would love to catch a ride on an alien ship. Just no examinations/probing please.
