Ever since I was 10 I have only been interested in older guys
Is this normal?
Is anyone else the same?

My ex was like this, due to her father not being around. Is that accepted reasoning or simplifying a situation?

Its pretty common for women.

I can like younger guys but not usually due to the maturity difference.

eh, it gets awkward when you have a fanclub of 14-16 year olds that constantly show up when I go to the bowling alley and keep trying to chat me up when I don't wan't anything to do with schoolgirls :/

I want an older man, too.

But this is the result of bitter life experience. I'm tired of men my age (or younger) who act like little boys and need me to mother them.

In your case, OP, it sounds like some sort of deep-rooted issue stemming right from your childhood.

I dunno - the diagnosis isn't very common in my generation so most of the people around here tend to be younger... I am 44(!)

I was thinking more the 30-40 age group but I wouldn't rule out anyone up to 45. :wink:

It's not only about what they look like.

It's other things.

I don't want him to be too much older than me. I'd like us to grow old together, and not have to be wheeling him around in a wheelchair when I'm still in my sexual prime. :wink:

I was always attracted to older guys. Now, I'm attracted to guys my age because guys my age are the "older" that I was attracted to when I was younger. But the ceiling is going higher as I am getting older. Before I wouldn't consider anyone over 40. Now, I'm thinking, "That man is in his 50's? Really? Niiiiice."

I just can't consider younger men. I do fire photography and when I see these new firefighters and they're all buff and getting the chicks but they're KIDS. It's like a fetus in a helmet. It aint right. Who allowed people to be born after 1985 and actually let them grow up to adulthood?!
