i just had a very strange feeling that i can only describe as my brain crashing and rebooting (like windows 2000 XD)
context: well it happened during math class (i have been doing poorly (something that has never happened to me in math before and has caused me a lot of stress lately)) before it happened i was feeling tired very confused and frustrated and slowly i started getting more and more hot to the point of sweating then something clicked/snapped i dont know how to describe the exact feeling and suddenly everything became clear and the feeling of frustration tiredness and confusion was gone (i still didnt understand the material the teacher was giving) but it all felt clear it took about 30 minutes for my body to feel as if it has returned to a nominal temperature

i cant seem to really find anything on google that seems to explain this any ideas or explanations? i wasn't even sure where to start this thread so i put it in random

It may be related to the Aha Experience or Eureka Effect:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eureka_effect

Basically, a period of confusion and frustration as one tries to form a model of the knowledge being presented, said confusion and frustration dissolving once a representation has been found.

Hm. In that case I wonder if it could have been a panic attack.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panic_attack#Symptoms
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Limited_symptom_attack

Panic attacks often have many of those same symptoms, and last for around ten minutes. A Limited Symptom Panic Attack could definitely satisfy the requirements of having a sudden onset of what feels like fever, sweating, hot flashes, increased heartrate, feelings of confusion, and then a just as sudden disappearance of these as the adrenal system returns to equilibrium.

You'd really have to speak to a doctor to get a good idea of what it was and what could have triggered it, if it was a panic attack.
