I have mild Mysophobia. I always sanitise my hands prior to eating, writing and using my laptop. Unfortunately, I have developed the flu. I am at a loss as to what to do. I do not wish to go to school as I risk contaminating the other children with this horrid influenza, but then again, I do not wish to be at a disadvantage academically.

Thus, I re-state, I am at a loss.

I'd recommend taking a couple of days off. For your sake so you can rest and recover quicker, but also for the sake of others.

Hope you feel better soon :)

If you have sick days available, I strongly suggest you take them. To go to class while contagious means spreading the flu, perhaps to other mysophobes.

What are you studying? What level?

MIT's Opencourseware may help you. MIT makes public the syllabuses, course notes, and more for almost all of their classes. It's a wonderful way of studying a subject on one's own, and ought to help if you've got to study on your own for a few days.

ETA: http://www.course-notes.org/ may also help, for secondary school. You may be able to follow along with a close analog of the schedule you would be missing.

Just wait it out and rest.
I'm not mysohpboic but very phobic of illness but once one has fallen ill with cold or flu there's not much that can be done about it. I tend to come out of the end of it thinking "wait it wasn't that scary!"
