...by posting and discussing stuff on this forum i feel like im finally home. I live in a world and local society where so much is based around relationships and EVERYBODY has friends, and most people have huge lists it seems of friends, and I seem to be the only young person out there who has a hard time keeping friends and being social like other people.

well, on this forum, it's clear that im not the only one. Maybe the only one in ohio, USA, but definately not the only one in the world. There are other young adults on here who struggle with making friends, social interaction, and keeping friends as well. (some to a much worse degree than me, although im not happy that they do). It makes me feel a lot better about myself knowing im not the only young guy on this planet that has a hard time socially.

just a quick read through the topics on the "friendship and social interaction" forum, and its clear that many people here are like me. :)

although i havent made any online friendships with people from this forum, it isnt because im not trying to or avoiding it. i have spoken with a few people here, and they are either too busy to talk or just dont feel comfortable yet reaching out to a stranger. oh well, im not worried.

glad i found this place... :) 8)

Hi Eric,
Glad to meet you here on wrong planet. Don't feel that you are alone in the world. There is always somebody here. Would love to chat if you are interested. I'm kind of socially isolated too. I work 3rd shift so can only pm or go on forums at that time. They don't allow chat rooms.

Yes, it is comforting to know that there are other Aspies out there. We all need to support each other and share in one another's experiences.

Glad you like it here.
