What do you guys think of Easter? Do you celebrate it? Do you not celebrate it? What things do you get for Easter? Do you love it, or hate it?

I enjoy Easter, because I get to be with my family. My mum, dad, sister, brother in law, my niece and I are together with the dog and my mum cooks a big turkey dinner. We have pie for dessert and white wine later on. Dad, Kenny and I watch old war videos on YouTube while my mum and sister hang out with Adria. It's a lot of fun. :D

Whether you love Easter or hate it, I'm eager to hear from the rest of you. :)

I love Easter as well. This year I am going to Mass with my parents in the morning. I'm going to dress up for it. Later on in the afternoon my parents, brother and I are going to IHOP to have breakfast for dinner after my brother gets off from work.

I'm not really that fussed with Easter, personally.
We visit family on Easter, traditionally, so that will be fun providing there are no social cock-ups on my part ;)

I have mixed feelings about Easter. I am often alone for it. This year I will be with my mother. I don't like how commercialised it is becoming, and how everyone buys so much food for just a couple of days. Its becoming like a second Christmas in that way. It's interesting to see the mixing of a secular, Pagan and Christian holiday, in fact for most people it seems to be not at all Christian.
I just hope for a peaceful day, and look forward to when everyone goes back to work and things follow their normal routine. This is probably selfish of me, but I find the change in routine difficult.

I like Zombie Weekend (Matthew 27;51), I get a decent dinner and get to lie around and do nothing. I technically am celebrating the pastafarian holiday of...Holiday anyway :)

I celebrate Easter watching movies about Jesus Christ. They usually have them on around that time. I used to go to church, but since I moved there are no churches in my neck of the woods. So all I do is watch "Jesus of Nazareth" "Last Temptation of Christ" "Passion of the Christ" so on and so forth. Its like a marathon while eating Easter starburst jelly beans.

Tomorrow I am taking my son out to his grandparents/aunt's and we have a snow globe to give them as a present with his Easter photo in it.

I have always viewed Easter as a children's holiday. You buy them candy and little toys and put in their basket and then you stuff the eggs and hide them in the yard and have them go out and look for them.

I celebrate it!
it was when christ was resurrected, and since I am from the church of Jesus CHRIST of latter day saints, it suits me well to celebrate the day he came from the dead.

I like the hanging out with little cousins also. =)

Easter for me means lots of people visiting the countryside around where I live. I don't resent them enjoying where I live - it is beautiful. But, I get overwhelmed by all the crowds and feel trapped indoors

As a child I enjoyed listening to my Granny singing ♪Hot cross bums♫ (instead of Hot cross buns)

Easter is not as fun as Halloween but... we go to church. 3 of 4 of my kids are Acolyting in the Service. We dress up. It's a nice occasion and there's usually a lot of people who attend than normal.

We do easter baskets for the kids. We hide them all over the house so they have to wake up to find out where the Easter Bunny hid the baskets. I have the most fun with the oldest one's basket. This year it might be precariously balanced atop the ceiling fan.

We decorated eggs today (Saturday), which is another fun Easter tradition we do.

I think Easter will mean something different for the neighbor kid, though. He just put his foot through his bedroom window and his mother had to run him to the ER. He'd broken the glass and sliced open his foot. He's only about 10 years old. Childhood brings all sorts of experiences.

Bah humbug!
I'm not Christian so don't celebrate it, I'm estranged from my family so there's not any sort of holiday get-together, and I was never allowed to have Easter Eggs - frankly, without chocolate what's the point?

As an adult I hate it more about with everything closed and public transport off it means you don't have the freedom to do anything, not even popping to the shop for a pint of milk, also most people I know don't get Easter off so they have to struggle with the lack of transport and risk being stranded, and so Easter is nothing more than a huge annoyance.
