because we are genitically programmed to go for the most fertile and woman most able to care for children. The theory is the bigger the breast the more milk that can supplied to the child. Something like that. Could be wrong though :?

Someone told me it's partly because you never get to see them very often.. as in in public they're covered up.. could this contribute?

I think not seeing them often adds to the intrigue. I totally dislike the concept of implants and would much rather see a flat-chested woman than one with falsies, but I tend to like smaller ones anyway. Boobs are not the first thing I consider in my attraction to a woman. All shapes and sizes have their own appeal.

My wife and I used to play a game. She'd say, "Are hers real?" and I'd reply, "Well I like to think so."

...or maybe it's something carried on from childhood, you know, the neccessity of the breasts for nourishment. Maybe it's carried on from there and been sexualised as the person matures.

For more on this topic read The Naked Ape: A Zoologist's Study of the Human Animal by Desmond Morris (Delta April 13, 1999)

...or maybe because it's something that men don't have. They might be subconsiously envious or something. Well...some men do have them, but that's kind of icky and not something i'd enjoy touching.

I don't know about everyone else but my eyes rest at a 15 degree downward angle which is bad if I zone out when females are in front of me. But yes, the fascination is hardwired into DNA. I'm not obsessed with breasts but I find myself staring a good 2 seconds before I think "well I wont stare at those...oops".

Their mezmerizing effect (regardless of size) is a formidable power so remember to be mercifull to the male subjects under your influence

In African tribes, men see breasts all the time and are not as obsessed about them as we are in the West (they seem to be obsessed with butts more apparently). I took a Women's Study class and the teacher said that it was merely social programming. I'm not sure if I buy that completely.

I don't think it's so much about breasts as it is about anything that differentiates the typical female appearance from the typical male appearance. Breasts are visually interesting, as are shaved legs, the female genitalia, etc - anything that conforms to the standard feminine appearance.

I'm not sure how it would work out if we switched things up, for example if men were the ones who shaved and women got hairy. Or if all men started growing man-boobs. Maybe we'd be more attracted to hairy women and women would be more attracted to hairless guys with boobs? Then again, females don't put so much emphasis on appearance, from what I gather.

But the part of a woman's appearance that most attracts me is none of these things. To me the face and the eyes are by far a women's best features. Which is odd given that in many situations I tend to avoid looking people in the eye.

Oh yeah, definitely. Makes you wonder what we'd look at if we just all went naked, doesn't it? Maybe we'd be turned off by nakedness and become more attracted to clothed people.

I'm more a butt lover(that does not sound right) vs a boob man. I think one
sex expert said men are seeing a butt when the view boobs. The bigger and more
like a butt they look like then hence why men like them. I tend to like small boobs
on a women but I can not deny when big boob trigger my reptillian brain to
react.

That's puzzling. Please describe how reptiles react to boobs. I think you're just stereotyping reptiles.

Yeah as a guy,

i think it is the sexual repression of the US society that intrigues guys about breasts since they are mysterious and mysterious can be very exciting. i am not that big fan of too big of breasts around probably a B , A , C cups. carrying anything bigger just looks really too uncomfortable. Also i think someone said that be able to take care of offpsring that is part of it you can have A or B cup breasts and be able to take care of offspring well since breasts will grow anyway to be able to produce milk for the young. mostly it is United States sexual repression in our society.
