Should I feel bad/guilty??

Today I borrowed a book from the university library called "Abnormal Psychology". The thing is that its not a textbook for a class I'm currently taking. I feel bad because I'm thinking "What if some other person needs it for research or projects?" And here I am, borrowing this book cause I think I find the contents interesting to read. What worse is that this book may be distracting me from other school work (leisure reading is always more fun ).

If it's available at the library, it's free for you to take it. It's not like you stole it.
Now if you keep it checked out for half the year, that might be evil.

Yes, I am aware that I didn't do anything illegal. However, there is more to a person's conscience than simply obeying the written laws of society.

You shouldn't feel guilty. It was yours for the taking.

Sorry if you misunderstood. I'm enjoying the book BTW. Reading about the autism section. I guess at least I'm enjoying it and not "putting it to waste" but just "leaving it on the shelf for dust to fall on".

I once hid a book a guy needed because I hated him. I was 13. Now THAT is something to be guilty about.
