Wanna go darker though. Been red before.

9N... a little bit darker than my avatar pic.

... with a half Irish background. On my mom's side, my granddad had bright red hair before it grayed and my mom had reddish auburn brown hair until she dyed it blond. My dad's side was French huguenot with jet black hair.

I am a rare breed I guess
11C
I have soft black hair with redish brown highlights. Of course the only people I ever met with my hair color are in my family.
for the reference I am northern Irish/native american...kind of a weird mix

3/5 A/N/G?

I'm not sure if my hair is a very dark blonde or light brown. It depends on the lighting: too much light and my hair will reflect a golden tone; too little light and it will be silver. Hell, there are photos where my hair have a slightly greenish tone.

8R. The 8 was a bit hard to choose as my hair is red. It has darkened over the past few years, though, to the point of family members asking why I dyed it so dark. I'm in my 40s and haven't started going grey yet. It'll be very obvious when I do.

7N, with patches of 6R in my beard (pre-greying!) More like 2N for the first few years of my life (I'm not sure exactly when it darkened.)

I was 4C for most of my life. Now, I'm mostly gray.

I have auburn hair (red-brown). This isn't on the list.

Oh wait. I suppose 7R or 8R. My Irish heritage gave me the redness.

I changed from blonde as a child to medium brown as an adult. I need to color my hair now or I get gray patches.
