You are cordially invited to a program sponsored by the Portland (Oregon) Association for Psychological Type. Asperger's Syndrome and Psychological Type will compare and contrast these two very different ways of being. The program will address the following questions:

*Are faulty criteria being used to diagnose AS?

*Does contemporary (non-Jungian) psychology have a bias toward seeing mental illness in many people?

*Are people being diagnosed with AS solely - or even mostly - on the basis of their divergence from the social norm?

*Is AS ever an appropriate diagnosis? What does this mean in terms of type development?

*Which types are involved in diagnosing AS, and which types are most often diagnosed?

*A $5 donation is requested from non-members. Please RSVP to Pam Rechel <[email protected]> or (503) 287-4323.

Sure, I would take part in that if it wasn't so far away.
