I don't know any of her songs except for the singles she's released.

I like the singles she's released.

The song starts at 2:30:

These are the lyrics:

Quote:
It doesn't matter if you love him or capital H-I-M

Just put your paws up

'Cause you were born this way, baby

My mama told me when I was young

We are all born superstars

She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on

In the glass of her boudoir

There's nothin' wrong with lovin' who you are

She said, 'cause He made you perfect, babe

So hold your head up, girl and you you'll go far

Listen to me when I say

I'm beautiful in my way

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way, born this way

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

Baby, I was born this way

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way

Don't be a drag, just be a queen

Don't be a drag, just be a queen

Don't be a drag, just be a queen

Don't be

Give yourself prudence and love your friends

Subway kid, rejoice of truth

In the religion of the insecure

I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin

Believe capital H-I-M

I love my life, I love this record and

Mi amore vole fe yah

I'm beautiful in my way,

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

Baby, I was born this way

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way

Don't be drag, just be a queen

Whether you're broke or evergreen

You're black, white, beige, chola descent

You're Lebanese, you're orient

Whether life's disabilities

Left you outcast, bullied or teased

Rejoice and love yourself today

'Cause baby, you were born this way

No matter gay, straight or bi

Lesbian, transgendered life

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born to survive

No matter black, white or beige

Chola or orient made

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born to be brave

I'm beautiful in my way

'Cause God makes no mistakes

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way

Don't hide yourself in regret,

Just love yourself and you're set

I'm on the right track, baby

I was born this way, yeah

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

Baby, I was born this way

Ooh, there ain't no other way, baby, I was born this way

I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way

I was born this way, hey

I was born this way, hey

I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way, hey

I was born this way, hey

I was born this way, hey

I'm on the right track, baby, I was born this way, hey

Yeah I love Born this way, it's one of my favourites. I love all of Lady Ga Ga's songs I think they're brilliant. It's the same as with anything though, we're all different so we don't ALL hate or love her. That's like saying that everyone with Schizophrenia loves Marmite!

Quote:
I can't stand the woman and I hope she gets addicted to coke, fails at rehab, and becomes another washed up celebrity on a "reality" series.

That's just a horrible thing to say. Can you give me a logical reason as to why you would wish such suffering on a human being? Just because you don't like her doesn't mean you should wish things like this.

Not really. They're just meh pop song, nothing really special or unique. Her public persona seems more like a corporate creation and I don't like that I guess.

I had the misfortune of hearing this artist recently. My reaction to her music is that it sounded like an AM radio that wasn't quite on the station. Distorted. It wasn't even music. She certainly explains why the music industry is in such bad shape, if this is the output they're giving people these days.

I'm an Aspie who loves Gaga's music. Her songs have catchy, infectious beats and cleverly rhyming words. My favorite song of hers will always be "Bad Romance." It's a brilliant song, and the video is even more brilliant. Gaga is extremely talented. Even if you don't like her music, you can't deny her talent. She writes her own songs, sings live, and is a whiz at piano. I've seen her live twice, and she is amazing.

I can't listen to a lot of music that was recorded after 1984. Songs that were recorded after that year are a little too soft or poppy for my tastes.

I like Bad Romance, Poker Face, Just Dance, and Telephone. Sometimes she gets on my nerves but her songs are annoyingly catchy, and I still like them at least a little. But I must admit that at first I hated her.

Melody is just one small element of any modern pop presentation. Why have you emphasised it? Most pop melodies are simple and inoffensive. They have to be or they wouldn't be popular.

"Born this Way" is an LGBT pride anthem. And can be taken as a pride anthem for anyone with any kind of diversity (which would be everyone). It's simple but great since there is still MUCH discrimination going on and it's good to have an advocate as famous as her saying it is good and right to be who you are.

Well that song is still quite horrid if you ask me...Every song by Pink Floyd is 100X better.
