Yeah if want to see one I need only go to my brother-in-laws mother house. She
has bird feeder in her yard every where. Plus the humming bird feeders that have
sugar water in them I guess. I have made blue bird houses for her also. Oh a funny
story she had a tree cut down in her yard it was full of honey and bees I mean alot
of honey!!

I try to take pictures of the hummingbirds in my garden, but they are too fast and all over the place to get a good shot. They don't show up good in the pictures because they are so tiny.

I love that pic, because the hummer has the cutest itty bitty little feeties. That's one of the reasons I love my lizard. He also has the cutest itty bitty little feeties.

Hummingbirds are cool. When I was about 10, I saw one lying on the ground. I thought he was dead and picked him up. I was looking at him there in my palm feeling sad, when he suddenly moved. Then he flew up in front of my face and hovered there a few seconds and flew away. It felt magical.
I was a lonely little street urchin about this time and it was the only nice thing that had happened in so long.
They do have the cutest little feet, don't they?

They're just so perfectly cute. Itty bitty feet, so small and sweet. Somewhere around here, I have a link to a hummer nest, but I can't find it! When I do, I'll post it too.

My son found this little guy laying on our front porch a couple months back....

We were sadly getting ready to do a burial  after we stood for what seemed like ages looking at how beautiful he was...then he suddenly sat up and looked at us. I got in one quick photo before he flew away.
