i personally like the nano

The one I have right now, my black 4gb Nano.

I have a nearly 3YO 15Gb third-gen iPod and still love it. About 75% of its hard drive space is in use with just under 2.9K files.

Now, the *IDEAL* iPod for my use would be a (hypothetical) 20-30 Gb flash memory based non-video unit with third-gen controls (I find that to be far and away the best layout), but we'll just have to wait for the price of flash memory to drop some more and for its capacity to increase some more.

<sigh...>

If they start building a line that resembles Street Vehicles, let me know. I'd like a shiny, Red Routie for an I-Pod.

I'd like a cheap one with decent memory - currently my music on the computer amounts to about 2GB, and I could quite happily obtain more! (Except space on a PC is precious when there are four users ... )
